Common questions

Which practices have an accessibility deadline?

The HHS Section 504 web and mobile accessibility requirements apply to recipients of HHS financial assistance, including practices receiving Medicaid funding. The WCAG 2.1 AA deadline is May 11, 2027 for recipients with 15 or more employees and May 10, 2028 for those with fewer than 15. The practice’s circumstances and applicable exceptions need to be assessed.

Does the service include website fixes?

Yes. We handle the agreed accessibility fixes, work directly with your website or portal vendor, and retest the changes. You receive updates without having to manage the back-and-forth.

Will my team need to manage the work?

You give us access or introduce us to your vendor. We coordinate the work, handle the agreed fixes, and keep you informed. If we need a decision from your team, we explain the options clearly.
